The CIPS Report
Did you know that the serviced office market can give businesses considerable cost savings for a period of up to three years?
The Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply (CIPS) reports that some businesses could halve their accommodation costs if they opt for a fully serviced business centre over leasing conventional offices. The CIPS Serviced Office Report found that a company of 10 staff in a regional city centre could make an annual accommodation saving of 44%, rising to 82% for a one-month stay.

In a Central London location, cost savings can be as much as 69%
The study costed 10 key expense factors: fit-out costs, floorspace rental, building services, office administration, electricity, telephone rental, photocopying and faxing resources rental, office cleaning, furniture, provision of meeting/board rooms and acquisition costs.
For the purposes of the research it was assumed that all these standard factors are included in the monthly fee for a serviced business centre. The CIPS added that, "this study takes no account of the strategic and tactical advantages and associated business benefits which an early market entry may deliver due to the use of an immediate office solution."
